Basketball Recap: Lake Havasu Takes a Loss

Lake Havasu lost against Kellis back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lake Havasu Knights took a 62-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kellis Cougars.

When it comes to explaining why Lake Havasu lost, don't look at Isaac Bolden. Despite the final result, he posted 19 points. Bolden's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Royes, who scored 12 points.

Lake Havasu has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season. As for Kellis, their record is now 9-12.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Centennial the next time they take the court. Kellis will head out to face Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Lake Havasu will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
