Baseball Recap: Dolgeville Comes Up Short

Dolgeville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Canastota Red Raiders.

Dolgeville saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taegen Johnson, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Christian Corso was another, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and two RBI.

Dolgeville's loss dropped their record down to 3-9-1. As for Canastota, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Dolgeville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Canastota, they will welcome Jordan-Elbridge at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
