Basketball Recap: Arborbrook Christian Academy Takes a Loss

If Arborbrook Christian Academy was feeling good fresh off their 95-47 takedown of Socrates Academy on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons were beaten by the Charlotte Christian Knights 92-57 on Thursday. The Falcons were down 80-47 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Ethan Jones and Ezra Briles certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Jones posted 21 points and five assists, while Briles went 6-for-11 en route to 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyral Collins, who scored six points and five boards.

Arborbrook Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arborbrook Christian Academy will host NorthPoint Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Charlotte Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against SouthLake Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
