Basketball Recap: Henderson County Extends Home Winning Streak to Eight

Henderson County waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Union County Braves by a score of 51-44. Given the Colonels' advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 25th, while the Braves are ranked 143rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Henderson County pushed their record up to 18-5 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.1 points over those games. As for Union County, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.
