Basketball Recap: Tri-County Wins Going Away Against Mercer

Tri-County won the last time they faced Mercer and things went their way on Friday too. The Tri-County Mustangs strolled past the Mercer Cardinals with points to spare, taking the game 62-43.

Tri-County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season. As for Mercer, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri-County will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Grundy County/Newtown-Harris at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th. Mercer will also get a bit of a break before their next matchup: they'll face off against Trenton at 7:30 p.m. on February 17th.
