Basketball Recap: Woodson's Losing Streak Snapped at 12 Games

Woodson can finally bid farewell to their 12-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Monday. They slipped by the Anacostia Indians 1-0. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 46-29 loss the last time these two teams met.

Woodson's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Anacostia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Woodson will take on Bell in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Woodson is facing Bell at the right time seeing as Bell is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Anacostia and School Without Walls will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
