Football Recap: Milpitas Comes Up Short

Milpitas played a tough contest on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 33-6 loss at the hands of the Menlo School Knights. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Trojans have suffered since September 7, 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Milpitas lost, don't look at Bren David. Despite the final result, she rushed for 144 yards on only ten carries, and also threw for 103 yards and one TD.

This is the second loss in a row for Milpitas and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Menlo School, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Milpitas has already played their next match, a 39-0 win against Saint Francis on the 10th. As for Menlo School, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Atwater at 4:00 p.m.
