Softball Recap: Aldine Comes Up Short

Aldine lost against MacArthur back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Aldine Mustangs came up short against the MacArthur Generals, falling 16-6. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aldine's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for MacArthur, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-8-1.

We've got a battle between Mustangs coming up. Westfield has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 24 runs per game on average), something Aldine will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for MacArthur, they will square off against Spring at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Spring is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.
