Soccer Game Preview: Viewpoint vs. Windward

Viewpoint is 0-9-1 against Windward since January of 2020 but things could change on Thursday. The Patriots will host the Wildcats at 2:00 p.m.

Viewpoint managed to keep up with Crossroads until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. 2026 welcomed the Patriots with a 3-0 loss courtesy of the Roadrunners. While losing is never fun, Viewpoint can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 448th, while Crossroads are ranked 195th).

Meanwhile, Windward kept a clean sheet against Campbell Hall on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Vikings. Windward haven't had any issues with Campbell Hall recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Windward's win bumped their record up to 5-1-1. As for Viewpoint, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3-1.
