Soccer Recap: Needville Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Madisonville, Needville was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They beat the Navasota Rattlers by a goal, winning 1-0. The Bluejays wouldn't have won without Stephanie Puente, who scored the game-winner.

Needville's record is now 2-3. As for Navasota, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5-1.

Needville wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 1-0 win against Bellville on the 11th. As for Navasota, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Harmony School of Innovation at 5:15 p.m. on January 24th. Navasota's last eight games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
