Basketball Recap: Mckay Falls Short of Silverton in the Playoffs

McKay and Silverton squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but McKay had to settle for second. They were dealt a 71-21 loss at the hands of the Silverton Foxes. The Royal Scots just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row.

McKay's loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Silverton, they pushed their record up to 20-2 with the victory, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, McKay will take on Corvallis at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. McKay has given up an average of 57.1 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Silverton, they will host Woodburn at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
