Volleyball Recap: Tri-Central Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Tri-Central extended their losing streak to 18 on Monday, dropping them down to 1-21. They came up short against the Southern Wells Raiders, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on September 6th.

As for Southern Wells, their victory ended a five-match drought on the road and puts them at 13-12. They not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 13th (when they won 3-0).

Sydney Alstoft had a dynamite game, getting 26 assists and seven aces. That's the most assists she has posted over her last two matches. Another player making a difference was Ellie DeWeese, who had ten digs and three aces.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tri-Central will host Clinton Central at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southern Wells, they will be playing at home against Jay County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
