Volleyball Game Preview: Indy Genesis HomeSchool Indy Genesis vs. Brownsburg Bulldogs

Indy Genesis HomeSchool is 0-3 against Brownsburg since April of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Indy Genesis will challenge the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Thursday, Indy Genesis HomeSchool was able to grind out a solid win over Heritage Christian, taking the game 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Indy Genesis in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

Indy Genesis HomeSchool was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-19, 16-25, 25-22.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Brownsburg, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They blew past Herron 3-0 on Friday. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Bulldogs this season.

Brownsburg never let Herron on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 26-24, 25-11.

Indy Genesis HomeSchool better keep an eye on Michael Fenol. He was instrumental in Brownsburg's win, getting 34 assists and 12 digs. That's the most digs Fenol has posted since back in April of 2024.

Indy Genesis HomeSchool pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Brownsburg, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Indy Genesis HomeSchool might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Brownsburg in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can the Indy Genesis avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
