Basketball Recap: Monument Valley Has No Trouble Against Tuba City

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Monument Valley's strategy against Tuba City on Tuesday. Everything went the Monument Valley Mustangs' way against the Tuba City Warriors as the Monument Valley Mustangs made off with a 67-46 win. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Mustangs had established a 20 point advantage.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tyler Tsinnie, who posted 13 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Deiondre Whiterock, who scored 11 points.

Monument Valley's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-13. As for Tuba City, their record now sits at 10-9.

Monument Valley has already played their next matchup, a 70-41 defeat against Page on the 30th. As for Tuba City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-60 win against Window Rock on the 30th.
