Volleyball Recap: Christina Miller and Hailey Ishman Secure Win for Bloomfield + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Bloomfield challenged Bristol on Wednesday. The Cardinals came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 3-1. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 22-25, 25-15, 25-18.

Bloomfield was led to victory by Hailey Ishman and Christina Miller. Ishman had ten digs and nine aces, while Miller had 24 digs and six aces. Ishman is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Koon, who had ten kills, eight digs, three aces, and one block.

They weren't the only good server: Bloomfield was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 25 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 18 aces in three consecutive matchups.

Bloomfield's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Bristol, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Bloomfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Badger on the 4th. Bristol has also already played their next game (against McKinley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
