Baseball Recap: Gloucester County Tech Comes Up Short

Gloucester County Tech fell victim to Washington Township and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Minutemen. Gloucester County Tech was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Washington Township apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

Gloucester County Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3-1. As for Washington Township, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Coming up, Gloucester County Tech will venture away from home to square off against Nottingham at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Washington Township, they will square off against Vineland at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Fighting Clan's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Minutemen's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
