Softball Recap: Trinity Lutheran Takes a Loss

Trinity Lutheran lost against Brownstown Central back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cougars fell 5-1 to the Braves. The Cougars just can't catch a break and have now endured nine defeats in a row.

Grace Lance spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on nine hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.

Trinity Lutheran's record is now 1-9. As for Brownstown Central, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-11.
