Baseball Recap: Holy Cross Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Holy Cross's offense. They came up short against the Northern Burlington Greyhounds on Tuesday, falling 15-0. If the Lancers were looking for revenge after losing 8-2 to the Greyhounds when the teams met back in April of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Holy Cross and nudges their season record down to 2-5. As for Northern Burlington, the win keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holy Cross will head out to square off against Pennsauken at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Northern Burlington, they will venture away from home to challenge Burlington Township at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
