Recap: North Central Eagles vs. Paulding Panthers
The North Central Eagles lost against the Paulding Panthers back in December of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. North Central suffered a tough 61-41 loss at the hands of Paulding. North Central has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
North Central lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Joe Burt, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds. The contest was Burt's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cohen Meyers, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three blocks.
North Central now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Paulding, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Central won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Swanton at 3:30 p.m. on December 16th. Swanton is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Paulding will be home for the holidays to greet Stryker at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
