Football Recap: Kewaunee's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Friday

Kewaunee was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Brillion on Friday. The Storm never let the Lions get on the board and left with a 20-0 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Storm's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 106th, while the Lions are ranked 219th).

The win got Kewaunee back to even at 1-1. As for Brillion, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Kewaunee and Brillion will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Storm are set to take on their familiar foe Oconto at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Brillion will challenge rival Chilton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
