Soccer Recap: Torrey Pines Comes Up Short

Torrey Pines managed to keep up with Oceanside until halftime on Wednesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Torrey Pines Falcons lost 3-0 to the Oceanside Pirates. The Falcons were probably out for revenge after losing 1-0 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Torrey Pines has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11-1 record this season. As for Oceanside, the win keeps them at an undefeated 13-0-1.

Torrey Pines will square off against San Dieguito Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Oceanside, they will take on Carlsbad at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Oceanside is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.
