Baseball Recap: Neelyville Comes Up Short

After flying high against Malden on Saturday, Neelyville came back down to earth. The Tigers fell just short of the South Pemiscot Bulldogs by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Neelyville's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for South Pemiscot, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Neelyville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-3 defeat against Cooter on the 16th. As for South Pemiscot, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-4 loss against Holcomb on the 17th.
