It was a good run, but Anacortes unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They received a blow as they fell 71-55 to the Lynden Christian Lyncs. The Seahawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lyncs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Anacortes' defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-3. As for Lynden Christian, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-1.

Anacortes and Lynden Christian should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. Anacortes (ranked 41st) will meet Squalicum (ranked 154th) at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Anacortes is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Meanwhile, Lynden Christian will square off against Nooksack Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Friday up 123 places (14 vs. 137).
