Volleyball Recap: Becton Comes Up Short

Becton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bergen Charter. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Becton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Bergen Charter, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Becton will take on Garfield at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Boilermakers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bergen Charter, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pioneer Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bergen Charter are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
