Berrien Springs strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They enjoyed a cozy 31-14 win over the Parchment Panthers. Given the Shamrocks' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 156th, while the Panthers are ranked 338th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Berrien Springs' victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Parchment, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Berrien Springs will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Buchanan at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Parchment, they are taking a road trip to take on Watervliet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be Parchment's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
