Volleyball Game Preview: Annapolis Panthers vs. Douglass Eagles + How To Watch

The Annapolis Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Douglass Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Annapolis came up short against Broadneck on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Panthers have struggled against the Bruins recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-16, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Douglass beat Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South 3-1 last Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Douglass had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-19, 25-23, 25-19.

Douglass' victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Annapolis, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Annapolis took their win against Douglass in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
