After both having extra time off, the North Farmington Raiders and the Oxford Wildcats will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Oxford took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on North Farmington, who comes in off a win.
Having struggled with five defeats in a row, North Farmington finally turned things around against Cass Tech on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Technicians by a score of 2-0.
After all that action, the final score was 25-15, 25-20.
Meanwhile, Oxford didn't have quite enough to beat Notre Dame Prep on Tuesday and fell 1-0.
North Farmington's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-7. As for Oxford, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
