James F. Byrnes put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's fifth consecutive shutout on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Lexington Wildcats a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Rebels, who have now won 20 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

James F. Byrnes' victory was their 15th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Lexington, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-5.

James F. Byrnes will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wildcats: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
