Baseball Recap: Staunton Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Staunton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with an 8-3 win over the Civic Memorial Eagles on Saturday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Staunton's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Overby, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another was Carter Legendre, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
