Clear Spring won the last time they faced Mountain Ridge and things went their way on Friday too. The Blazers blew past the Miners 9-3. The result was nothing new for the Blazers, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Clear Spring is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Mountain Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.
