Soccer Recap: Riverview Sarasota Takes a Loss

Riverview Sarasota and Riverview squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Riverview Sarasota had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Riverview Sharks by a score of 2-1. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Sharks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2020.

Riverview Sarasota now has a losing record at 8-9-2. As for Riverview, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which lines up perfectly with their 14-2-2 record this season.

Riverview Sarasota does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Riverview, they will take on Palm Harbor University at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Palm Harbor University will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Riverview surely won't give up without a fight.
