Basketball Game Preview: Haywood Christian Academy Red Wolves vs. Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy Eagles

Meanwhile, Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Mount Pisgah Academy 59-57.

Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Kaden Wooton, who shot 44% from the field on his way to 18 points along with seven rebounds and four blocks. Braden Smith was another key player, putting up 12 points and five boards.

The win got Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Haywood Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Haywood Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 40-30. Will the Red Wolves repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
