Soccer Recap: Grant's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sterlington, Grant was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the St. Frederick Warriors a 1-0 shutout. The win was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Grant's victory bumped their record up to 2-13-1. As for St. Frederick, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Grant has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Union Parish on the 11th. As for St. Frederick, they will square off against Ouachita Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
