While Alexandria put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for White Plains. Everything went the Alexandria Valley Cubs' way against the White Plains Wildcats as the Alexandria Valley Cubs made off with a 10-0 win. The Valley Cubs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

Alexandria let Brenlee Sparks and Charlee Parris run wild. Sparks scored two runs while going 2-for-2, while Parris scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Briley Bright also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Alexandria pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for White Plains, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.

Looking ahead, Alexandria will host Jacksonville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for White Plains, a feisty cat fight will be fought as White Plains Wildcats challenge Pell City Panthers at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
