Volleyball Recap: Ubly Wins Going Away Against North Huron + How To Watch

With a playoff win on the line, Ubly rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the North Huron Warriors. The victory continues a trend for the Bearcats in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won eight in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Ubly took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-9, 25-12.

Sadi Heleski had a dynamite game, getting 33 assists and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last 16 games she's played.

Heleski wasn't the only good servers: Ubly was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 21 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.

Ubly's win bumped their record up to 26-10-4. As for North Huron, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-10-2 record this season.

Ubly has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Owendale-Gagetown on the 7th. North Huron does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
