Baseball Recap: Dodd City Gets the Win

Dodd City won against Savoy on Friday with 20 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Dodd City Hornets didn't even let the Savoy Cardinals on the board, marking the Dodd City Hornets' second-straight 20-0 shutout. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Weldon Garner, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, four RBI, and two runs. Those triples marked the first that he hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cash Crossland, who scored three runs and stole Four bases. while going 1-for-2.
