Volleyball Game Preview: Seaholm Maples vs. Farmington Falcons

The Seaholm Maples will face off against the Farmington Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Farmington took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Seaholm, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Seaholm beat Avondale 3-1. The Maples haven't had any issues with the Yellowjackets recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Seaholm walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 26-24, 23-25, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Farmington came up short against Howell on Thursday and fell 2-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Highlanders: they've now lost three in a row.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-21.

Farmington's loss dropped their record down to 10-14-3. As for Seaholm, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 6-20-1.

Seaholm was able to grind out a solid victory over Farmington in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Maples repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
