Volleyball Recap: Tecumseh Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Tecumseh waltzed into their match on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Princeton Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Braves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Tecumseh was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-21, 25-19.

Tecumseh's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lydia Wilson led the charge by getting 12 digs and five assists. Wilson is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season.

Tecumseh was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Tecumseh's record is now 3-0. As for Princeton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Tecumseh will venture away from home to challenge Northeast Dubois at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Princeton, they have already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Heritage Hills on the 21st.
