Basketball Game Preview: Two Roads Charter School Falcons vs. Golden View Classical Academy Sentinels

The Two Roads Charter School Falcons will head out on the road to take on the Golden View Classical Academy Sentinels at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Two Roads Charter School might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 51-47 to Twin Peaks Classical Academy, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Falcons have struggled against the Timberwolves recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite their loss, Two Roads Charter School saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Hunter Liebsock, who posted 15 points, was perhaps the best of all. Kevyn Feldon was another key player, putting up 12 points and six boards.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Golden View Classical Academy against William Smith on Friday as the squad secured an 82-50 win. Given the Sentinels' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 136th, while the Eagles are ranked 328th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Golden View Classical Academy is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points per game. As for Two Roads Charter School, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Two Roads Charter School was taken down by Golden View Classical Academy 83-16 when the teams last played back in February of 2022. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Two Roads Charter School was down 52-8.
