Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ruston). They put the hurt on the Airline Vikings with a sharp 65-40 win on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bearcats as it put an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Ruston's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Airline, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ruston will take on Red River in a tournament on Friday. As for Airline, they will be home for the holidays to greet Ringgold at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
