The Leadership Academy Falcons will head out on the road to square off against the Cornerstone Charter Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Leadership Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven contests.

In what's become a running theme this season, Leadership Academy gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They breezed by Millennium on the road to the tune of 67-12. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Leadership Academy has posted yet this season.

Leadership Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Will Martin, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds. Landon Burleyson was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six steals and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Cornerstone Charter's three-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They skirted past Bethany 52-49. The win was just what Cornerstone Charter needed coming off of a 79-37 loss in their prior game.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cornerstone Charter to victory, but perhaps none more so than Spencer Knight, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Knight has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lake Bristol, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.

Leadership Academy now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Cornerstone Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.

This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Leadership Academy have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 25.6 rebounds per game. It's a different story for Cornerstone Charter, though, as they've been averaging only 33.6 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.

Everything came up roses for Leadership Academy against Cornerstone Charter when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 82-51 victory.
