Basketball Recap: Will Yang's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Rio Lindo Adventist over South Fork

Rio Lindo Adventist lost against South Fork back in February of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rio Lindo Adventist Spartans wound up with the same score they had in their last game (59-40), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Will Yang, who posted six points. Another player making a difference was MJ Lepulu, who had four points and 12 rebounds.

Rio Lindo Adventist's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for South Fork, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Rio Lindo Adventist will be playing in front of their home fans against Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Fork, they will be taking part in a tournament against Orland at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in South Fork's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
