Football Recap: San Clemente Falls Despite Big Games from Giselle Nacelli and Charlotte Grush

After flying high against University on Wednesday, San Clemente came back down to earth. The Tritons took a 20-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cypress Centurions on Thursday.

San Clemente's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Charlotte Grush, who picked up 97 receiving yards and one TD, and Giselle Nacelli, who picked up 94 receiving yards. Grush was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 66 yards.

San Clemente's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Cypress, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

San Clemente didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 25-2 win against Laguna Hills on the 19th. As for Cypress, they have also already played their next game, a 34-13 loss against Gahr on the 15th.
