Volleyball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

After flying high against Brackenridge on Tuesday, Edison came back down to earth. The Golden Bears fell 2-0 to the Victoria East Titans on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Golden Bears of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2022.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Victoria East, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Looking ahead, Edison will head out on the road to square off against McMullen County at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. As for Victoria East, they will take on Holmes in a tournament on Thursday.
