Basketball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Doherty Memorial's 11th in Last 13 Outings

Doherty Memorial had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Westwood Wolverines by a score of 57-47 on Friday. Given the Highlanders' advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 15th, while the Wolverines are ranked 71st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Doherty Memorial is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. Westwood is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-8.
