Chattooga is 9-1 against Armuchee since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Chattooga Indians will head out to face off against the Armuchee Indians at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Chattooga has four straight wins, Armuchee has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Tuesday, Chattooga didn't have too much trouble with Dade County as they won 71-56. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 244th, while the Wolverines are ranked 501st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Armuchee came up short against Gordon Central on Tuesday and fell 62-55.

Chattooga pushed their record up to 20-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.0 points per game. As for Armuchee, their loss dropped their record down to 6-18.

Chattooga took their win against Armuchee when the teams last played on Thursday by a conclusive 81-61. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chattooga since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
