Basketball Game Preview: Eads Eagles vs. Granada Bobcats

The Eads Eagles will challenge the Granada Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

Eads is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Kim/Branson on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Eads came up short against Kim/Branson, falling 68-48. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Granada challenged Wiley on Saturday. Granada secured a 49-43 W over Wiley.

Granada's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.5 points per game. As for Eads, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Eads was able to grind out a solid win over Granada when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 47-39. Will Eads repeat their success, or does Granada have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
