Football Game Recap: Foreman vs. Mineral Springs

After a string of seven wins, Foreman's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They and Mineral Springs were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered an agonizing 13-14 defeat. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.

With their first loss of the season, Foreman fell to 7-1. Mineral Springs' victory brought them up to 6-2.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Foreman will take on Murfreesboro at home at 7:00 PM next week. Murfreesboro are limping into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for Mineral Springs, they will go up against Lafayette County. Mineral Springs are cruising in on a three-game winning streak while Lafayette County are stumbling in off of three consecutive losses.
