River View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a hard 68-52 fall against the Warden Cougars. One positive for the Panthers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

River View's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Warden, their win ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-12.

River View and Warden could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings. River View will square off against Granger at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 187 places (362 vs. 175). Similarly, Warden (ranked 279th) will meet Okanogan (ranked 37th) at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
