Volleyball Recap: Poway Takes a Loss

Poway and Mission Vista squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Poway had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to Mission Vista. The Titans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Mission Vista earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Poway's loss dropped their record down to 25-17. As for Mission Vista, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 23-13 record this season.

Poway does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mission Vista, they will challenge St. Augustine at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Saints will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Mission Vista surely won't give up without a fight.
